Social Impact in Uganda

This week, Social Impact has some news on a presence in Uganda. They have now positioned a team of three people in Kampala. Under Social & Scientific Systems, Inc., the USAID Strategic Information Technical Support is working on facilitating, promoting, and enhancing the health systems. The biggest reason as to why this is such an important project, is because there is a current HIV/AIDS epidemic in Uganda. Social Impact’s position is actually known as the Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting partner, the (CLA). “We’re pleased to expand our health-focused work in Eastern Africa. Our long-term on the ground presence will allow us to deepen our engagement and maximize learning from development activities in Uganda,” commented SI Executive Vice President Kerry Bruce.
