President, Social Impact; Co-VP of New Orleans, Co-President Elect, AMA
Kate Amerling is a junior at UW-Whitewater studying Communications with a Public Relations Emphasis and Marketing Minor. Coming from the small town of Mayville, Wisconsin, it was important to Kate to get involved right away. This semester is her fifth semester on board. The day she stepped on board she became Vice President of Social Impact. Today that position has now become a new division in AMA in which she is the President of. She also serves as Co-Vice President of NOLA and Co-AMA President Elect for the upcoming fall semester.
Outside of AMA Kate is the on the Enactus Executive Board and is in Tri Sigma. Along with these two organizations, she works as one of two Student Marketing Coordinators for Intramural and Club Sports.
With being involved in AMA board, Social Impact, and working on two CMU accounts, she looks forward to getting to know more people throughout the entire organization while also getting hands-on experience. A fun fact about Kate is part cow; in a prior ankle surgery her ankle was replaced with one from a cow!
