WHAT IS THE SALES COMPETITION?
The sales competition is a single round role-play competition. You will build rapport, review your prior meeting with someone else in their organization, you will set an agenda, discover needs, present your solutions based on their needs, overcome objections, and close on the next appropriate step. About Federated Mutual Insurance Company:
Federated Mutual Insurance Company ("Federated") is a direct writer of property and casualty insurance products headquartered in Owatonna, Minnesota. The Company has approximately 2,600 employees and operates in 48 states, with several service offices located throughout the country. Federated has an A.M. Best rating of "A+ (Superior)."]
The company has been in business since 1904 serving niche markets in specific types of business with their insurance needs. For purposes of this competition we will be concentrating on their Property & Casualty, and Workers Compensation Insurances being offered to Convenience Stores.

About the competition:
· This is a day-of-event competition.
· The role-play will last 12 minutes, you will try to secure an agreement to buy from Federated.
· Chapters may register up to 10 participants. We will allocate spots based on capacity and in the order of your list of participants you submit.
Total Prize money.
There will be a winner for each room the competition is held in.
