Why Join AMA?

Whether you are looking for a new student organization to join or just trying to grow your basic marketing skills, look no further. UWW AMA is a unique student organization that is dedicated to helping students grow in professional development along with their peers. With the guidance of a great team of advisors, our group helps to push future marketers and business leaders to be the best version of themselves. UWW AMA strives to provide all students opportunities to continually learn, bring out their competitive edge, and figure out what direction to take in their future in business.

Criteria for being in UWW-AMA

This year our chapter is FREE to join and our group welcomes all majors as well. We help register you on the National AMA end and also on our local chapter side. We are constantly accepting new members and encourage them to follow the steps below:

  1. Attend an AMA event (whole group or division specific)

    • Whole group meetings are Wednesday, at 4 pm in Timmerman (HH1000)

  2. Contact a division president and tell them you are interested in being a member

    • Check out our Contact Page in our About tab

  3. Fill out the membership details. We will help get you registered with AMA National.

    • If you have any questions at all, don’t hesitate to ask/contact a board member

How are Membership Dues Covered?

Thanks to our 30+ corporate sponsors, we are able to pay your AMA National dues ($29/year).

Currently, we do not charge local UW-Whitewater chapter dues.
