Design Competition

What is the Design Competition?

In this day-of-event competition, your team will create a marketing communication to be launched via a brand's social media presence. You will be sent the actual Design Competition Prompt via email on the day of the conference and will have one hour to complete your design.

 

About Sprecher

Founded in 1984, Sprecher is Milwaukee’s original craft brewery and is known for fire-brewed craft sodas and root beer. Built on it's commitment to small-batch craftsmanship, fire-brewed tradition, and high-quality beverages with consistent attention to detail and flavor, Sprecher's broader beverage portfolio includes classic craft beverages, beer, energy drinks, and more offerings across a variety of brands. We recommend visiting Sprecher's website and social media platforms before the competition to get a feel for the different brands and products Sprecher produces!

Design Competition Details

  • This is a day-of-event competition open to both IN-PERSON and VIRTUAL.
  • There is no limit on the number of teams you can register to participate.
  • Each team may have up to three students.
  • There will only be a file submission component on this competition, no presentation.
  • It is recommended that at least one team member have some graphic design expertise.
  • Registered teams will receive an email with the prompt at approximately 2:00 PM Central on Friday during the conference.

DISCLAIMER: Chatpers will forfeit prize money for excessive competition no-shows.

AS WITH ALL COMPETITIONS, ONLY ONE chapter leader registers EVERYONE for their chapter. If you need to add teams later, the SAME chapter leader should register those teams as well.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR PRIZE MONEY, competitors must have an uploaded resume. If you are missing a resume, you can add it later. BUT to save the hassle and ensure each competitor is eligible, we encourage you to upload resumes at the time of registration.
