Gatekeeper Competition

What is the Gatekeeper Competition?

In this LIVE (in-person) competition, you are tasked with navigating a conversation with the gatekeeper at your prospect.  You should be able to build rapport, confirm details of your target contact, uncover additional valuable information about the contact and organization, and determine a follow-up timeline.  You will have 5 minutes to complete this competition. Top performers from Round 1 will move on to the finals, which will have a similar setup as Round 1.

Review the Gatekeeper Role-Play Scenario and the Rubric to understand more about this competition.

Gatekeeper Competition Details

  • This is an individual, day-of-event competition that is only open to registered IN-PERSON attendees.

  • Chapters may register all interested participants.

  • We will allocate spots starting October 12.

  • Based on capacity, spots will be allocated according to the priority order you list your registered participants and by order chapters registered.

Competition registration closes Friday, October 11!

DISCLAIMER: Chatpers will forfeit prize money for excessive competition no-shows.

AS WITH ALL COMPETITIONS, ONLY ONE chapter leader registers EVERYONE for their chapter. If you need to add teams later, the SAME chapter leader should register those teams as well.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR PRIZE MONEY, competitors must have an uploaded resume. If you are missing a resume, you can add it later. BUT to save the hassle and ensure each competitor is eligible, we encourage you to upload resumes at the time of registration.
